Process System for Preparation
of Corrugating Adhesives

The BVG-Super-Glue is a discontinuous process (batch - system), aimed to produce adhesives by controlling carrier and final viscosities. Viscosity of the glue to be produced, is measured and regulated online, during the complete batch - cycle, by means of a process viscosimeter. In first step, carrier starch is produced from native starch, by addition of caustic (NaOH). The amount of caustic added in a given time, regulates the carrier viscosity. For each formulation in the recepie manager, there is a specific carrier viscosity listed. This relationship is the background for the name “VCC - Process” (V = Viscosity; C = Controlled; C = Carrier).
